Issue #2 UPDATE!!!
about 3 years ago – Fri, Apr 02, 2021 at 11:00:04 PM

Hey everyone! I have some BIG news!

I have completed the script for Isidora #2 and it is in Alessandor Earnest's hands for editing! As soon as it is done I will be sending it over to Alper Gecgel who is coming back for the page art.

Oh you thought that was the big news? I haven't even started!

The issue 2 campaign will be on Indiegogo this time around and I will post the link here once the pre-campaign signup goes live sometime this month. I am hoping to launch sometime in May/early June.

I have commissioned 4 COVERS

  •  Jay Espin who did such an amazing job on the trading cards and box art is working on a wrap around cover. He did such an amazing job on those cards I just had to have him do a cover for issue #2 Variant A
  •  Vic King is also working on a wrap around cover for Variant B.
  • An Artist I commissioned from a site called Artists&Clients is working on a cover for a SPECIAL collection of issue 1 AND 2 combined, 48 pages, with a METAL COVER.
  • I am going to be hiring a new letterer to re-letter issue 1 in that collection issue and to do letters for the issue 2 stand alones.

What is the 4th cover you ask? Are you ready for this? Buckle up...

Famed artist for DC and Marvel, Mark McKenna, has been commissioned and is working on a LIMITED EDITION Black and White cover for issue 2! Mark has been a comic book artist for 32 years, having worked for both Marvel and DC comics on the likes of The X Men and Spider Man to Batman and The Justice League. There are almost 600 comics that list his name in the credits and 12,000 pages that bear his ink lines on them.

I am so excited and honored to have these amazing talented people working on Issue #2. Look out for the next update that will have the Indiegogo pre-campaign signup link!

Ever Grateful,

G.A. Lungaro

about 3 years ago – Mon, Mar 08, 2021 at 09:01:09 PM

Hey everyone! I can't believe the amount of love and support Isidora has gotten since this campaign started. The backerkit store has raised over $1000 since the campaign here in kickstarter ended!

I am in the process of writing and gearing up for issue #2 and I wanted to get some reviews and comments in to show new backers and fans what you amazing backers thought of this comic.

If you can, please take a few minutes to fill out this very short survey that will help me tremendously.

SHIPPING HAS COMMENCED!
about 3 years ago – Fri, Jan 22, 2021 at 05:13:44 PM

The day has arrived! I finally got the last few copies I needed from the printer (after me spreadsheet gaf) and began packing everything up. After a hard 4 days of packing it is all done!

Today my daughter and I packed up the car and dropped everything off at USPS! I will be sending out all the tracking numbers later today. Thank you all again for making Isidora happen and keep an eye out for Issue #2 which I will most likely do on Indiegogo!

We got it back from the printers! Heading towards fulfillment and shipping!
over 3 years ago – Tue, Dec 15, 2020 at 07:22:08 PM

They're heeeeeeeeeeeereeeeee!

I got the shipment from my printers! They did an AMAZING job on everything. Shoutout to Hero And Villain Designs. The matte Strathmore cover stock is amazeballs, no joke. I hope you all love it as much as I do.

There was 1 minor glitch, I somehow miscounted (even though I ran the report) the number of Goldfine covers needed for fulfillment...I was 2 short. When I make a mistake I own it, this was my fault must have grabbed the wrong report in my haste. But I did contact Hero and Villain Designs and they are printing them up as we speak plus a few extra for artist comps, should get those within a week.

I finished bagging all the prints and also signed all the backer copies that got a signed copy tier. I have a lot of flair touches to the packaging that I can't wait you all to see once it arrives. Don't just tear it open, I am making the unboxing a thing of beauty for you all. Speaking of, if possible please take pics or a vid and let me and everyone see your unboxing! Tag me on twitter  @ComicsRubicon  or on my author facebook page with your vids and/or pics!

I will update you again when I get the couple of missed copies and ship everything out! I am debating waiting until after the holidays because postal and shipping is crazy this time of year and stuff gets lost.

Talk to you soon!
